The Smallest Story

This year, we have had a radical shift about in our production output. There's a bad news/ good news thing going on.

The bad news is that it has been decided to put our performances of The Honourable Gentleman back until 2024. This will put in line with the 5oth anniversary of the events told in the play. It will also give writer-director time to recover with his mental health. THG could be our most angry and polemic show to date and it was felt that we needed to be kinder to ourselves so....

The GOOD NEWS!!! 2023 will finally see the first performance of The Smallest Story (adapted from our previous production The Smallest Story Ever Told with additional dramaturgy by David Mackintosh Loumgair.

The cast includes Sophie Armstrong and Gary Robson returning to the roles of Amy and Charlie Donnelly, Carl Laidlaw as Matthew Donnelly, Bee Kerr returning to theatre following a decade-long break as Sally Mason and David Simpson as Evan Cavendish.

The show will premier at Duns Playfest in The Scottish Borders before going on a regional tour culminating in a two-night finale in our hometown of Berwick upon Tweed.

We have our opening premier performance in EARLY MAY!!! More details soon!
